Shajahan Khan arrested

The Detective Branch of Dhaka Metropolitan Police has arrested Awami League presidium member and former shipping minister Shajahan Khan in the wee hours of Friday from the capital's Dhanmondi area.

DMP Additional Commissioner (Investigation) Rezaul Karim Mallik confirmed the matter to the media.

The police officer, also chief of detective branch (DB) police, however, did not disclose in which case the Shajahan Khan has been arrested.
