Justice Md Rezaul Haque made vacation judge

Justice Md. Rezaul Haque will serve as the vacation court judge of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court (SC), a notification of the SC said.

The Chief Justice has nominated Justice Md. Rezaul Haque as the vacation judge for the disposal of urgent matters related to the cases of the Appellate Division during the vacation period of the SC from September 8 to October 19, 2024. 

According to the order, Justice Md. Rezaul Haque will be physically present at the Chamber Court of the Appellate Division on - September 9, 11, 12, 18, 19, 23, 24 and 30; and October 2, 7, 8, 16 and 17 from 11 am.

However, the Supreme Court office will remain open from 9 am to 3 pm from Sunday to Thursday during the vacation of the apex court. 

The Supreme Court will resume regular judicial proceedings from October 20.
