Ex-MP Fazle Karim Chowdhury detained while trying to flee to India

The Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested 3 people including former MP Fazle Karim Chowdhury of the Raujan constituency (Chittagong-6).

A release issued from the BGB headquarters confirmed the matter on Thursday morning.

The release said that BGB arrested three people including former MP ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury. They were illegally crossing the border from Abdullahpur in Akhaura. 

The other two detained are a former member of the Nurpur area of ​​Akhaura Hannan Molla, and a local resident of Akhaura Naeem Chowdhury, who is also a member of a human trafficking gang.
