Chinese Ambassador meets new foreign secretary

Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Yao Wen has called on newly appointed Bangladesh foreign secretary Md Jashim Uddin at the foreign ministry. 

During the meeting, the two sides had in-depth exchanges of views on China-Bangladesh relations, pragmatic cooperation in various fields, regional and international issues of common concern, said the Chinese embassy in Dhaka on Thursday.

They also discussed on celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between Bangladesh and China.
