Inspector Arafat arrested for burning bodies in Ashulia

Inspector Arafat Hossain was arrested early on Friday for his alleged involvement in the burning of dead bodies in Ashulia on August 5, the day of the people-student uprising.

A team of RAB-3 arrested him from Aftabnagar in the capital.

Recently, a video went viral on social media Facebook, which shows a number of policemen carrying the bullet-ridden bodies to a van and covering them with a banner. It was later alleged that the bodies were set on fire.  

One of the men seen wearing a police vest and helmet in the video is Arafat Hossain. He went into hiding after the video came to light.
