26 more pardoned Bangladeshis return from UAE

A total of 26 Bangladeshi migrants out of 57, who were granted pardon by the president of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), returned to Dhaka on Friday afternoon. 

This is the second group of Bangladesh migrants who were granted pardon by Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the president of the UAE. Previously, 14 Bangladeshi migrants out of the 57 pardoned returned home on 7 September. Till now, 42 out of the 57 have returned to Bangladesh. 

The country's government has pardoned 57 Bangladeshis who were punished for protesting in the United Arab Emirates in solidarity with the anti-discrimination student movement.
