Anisul-Palak shown arrested in 3 cases, Mamun in 2

Former law minister Anisul Huq and former state minister for Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak were shown arrested in three different cases at the Badda police station. 

Meanwhile, former inspector general of police (IGP) Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun was shown arrested in two cases at the same police station. 

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Md Jaki Al Farabi passed the order on Wednesday following a petition submitted by police to show them arrested in those cases. 

Earlier, all three were brought to the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court from jail.

Anisul was arrested from the capital's Sadarghat area while he was trying to flee on August 13. The next day, police detained Palak from the capital's Nikunja residential area.

On September 3, Mamun was arrested from the Uttara area in connection with a murder case.
