Former minister Nurul Majid Humayun arrested

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested former industries minister and Member of Parliament (MP-lawmaker) of Narsingdi-4 (Monohardi-Belabo) Constituency Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun. 

He was arrested from his Gulshan residence early on Wednesday, RAB Legal and Media Wing Director Lt Col Md Munim Ferdous confirmed. 

The former minister was arrested on charges of assault, attack, and murder of students during the anti-discrimination student movement in the Madhabdi area of ​​Narsingdi on August 4, he said.
