Saber Hossain Chowdhury arrested

Police have arrested former minister and lawmaker Saber Hossain Chowdhury from the capital’s Gulshan area on Sunday evening.

Md Talebur Rahman, deputy commissioner of media and public relations of detective branch (DB), confirmed the arrest to the media.

Saber was arrested in specific cases, he added. 

Saber was elected Member of Parliament (MP) for several times from Dhaka-9 constituency since 2008. He was made minister of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change.
