Dengue claims nearly 200 lives this year

Five more deaths were reported from dengue in 24 hours till Tuesday morning, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

With the latest figures, the number of fatalities from the mosquito-borne disease in Bangladesh rose to 193 this year.

During the period, 981 more patients were hospitalised with viral fever, it said.
