Religious affairs ministry opens control room marking Durga Puja

 Ministry of Religious Affairs has opened a control room at the secretariat to ensure peaceful celebration of Durga Puja, the biggest religious festival of the Bangalee Hindu community.

The control room will be in operation from October 10 to 14 in room number 1424, level-14 of building six, an official release said here today.

A senior assistant secretary has been given the charge of the control room. People are urged to inform the control room by dialing 01766843809, if the overall law and order situation is disturbed in any way during the celebration of puja.
