Mirpur-10 metro station reopens

Mirpur-10 metro rail station resumed its operation on Tuesday, said Managing Director of Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) Mohammad Abdur Rouf.

Mirpur-10 metro rail station and Kazipara metro rail station were vandalised during the anti-discrimination student movement on July 19.

Talking to newsmen at Mirpur-10 metro rail station, road transport and bridges adviser Fouzul Kabir Khan said Tk 1.25 crore has been spent to repair the Mirpur-10 metro rail station. 

He also said that the total cost for repairing the Kazipara and Mirpur-10 metro rail stations is expected to reach approximately Tk 18.86 crore.

After repairing and replacement of equipment, Kazipara station resumed its operation on September 20.
