Motiur Rahman Sheikh takes charge of CID as its chief

Additional Inspector General of Police, has joined the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) as its chief.

The Home Ministry issued a gazette notification to this end on Wednesday.

Motiur, formerly a deputy inspector general in the CID, has been appointed as the chief of the agency following his promotion.

After taking charge of the CID as its chief, Motiur joined an introduction meeting with its officers and employees and instructed them to work accordingly, said a press release of the CID.
