Today's passing-out parade progrmme of 40th BCS police officers suspended abruptly

The government has suspended the passing-out parade of new police officers from the 40th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS).

The passing-out parade was scheduled for today.

A press release issued by Chief Adviser's Office on Saturday said the parade would not be held due to unavoidable reasons.

Home Adviser Lt Gen (retd) Md Jahangir Alam Chowdhury is now at Rajshahi on a two-day trip to attend different programmes.

He was set to join  the passing-out parade of new police officers from the 40th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) at Bangladesh Police Academy in Sarda.
