Barrister Sumon arrested

Former member of parliament of Habiganj-4 constituency  Barrister Sayedul Haque Sumon was arrested by police early on Tuesday. 

Confirming the matter, Pallabi Police Station Officer in Charge Md Nazrul Islam said Mirpur Model Police arrested Barrister Sumon from Dhaka on a student murder case. However, Mirpur Model Police Station was vandalised during the mass uprising and could not accommodate him, so he is kept at Pallabi Police Station at this moment. 

At around 1:15 am on Tuesday, Barrister Sumon published a post from his verified Facebook account that read, "I am going with the police. See you in court. Pray for me, everyone."
