More than 250 SIs discharged

More than 250 trainee cadet Sub-Inspectors (SIs) at the Sarda Police Academy were discharged for 'breach of discipline', Police Headquarters confirmed on Tuesday. 

Confirming the matter, Additional DIG Masudur Rahman said, more than 250 trainees out of 823 were discharged on charges of breach of discipline. 

The cadet SI members started their training on 11 November 2024, which was scheduled to end on 4 November this year.
