Bank accounts of Sikder family frozen

The Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU) has instructed banks to freeze the accounts of 14 members of the Sikder family.

Monawara Sikder, Parveen Haque Sikder, Rick Haque Sikder and Ron Haque Sikder are some of them.

The BFIU issued a directive in this regard October 22.

It requested a 30-day block on all transactions in these accounts.
