Arrest warrants of 46 including Hasina sent to IGP

The arrest warrants of 46 people, including the former prime minister Sheikh Hasina, involved in the genocide that occurred in July-August during student protests, were sent to the Inspector General of Police (IGP), International Crimes Tribunal Chief Prosecutor Advocate Tajul Islam has said. 

He made the remarks when Industries Adviser Adilur Rahman Khan and Law Adviser Asif Nazrul called on the chief prosecutor on Wednesday morning. 

After the visit, Asif Nazrul said the tribunal's works are progressing well. The trials may start by 1-3 November at the tribunal's main building.
