Police-Army disperse students blocking Secretariat

Members of the Police and Armed Forces have dispersed more than 100 students blocking the Secretariat to demand a re-evaluation of HSC and equivalent examination results on Wednesday. 

At around 3pm, more than 100 students entered the Secretariat, demanding the cancellation and re-evaluation of HSC examination results. 

Members of various law enforcement agencies arrived and tried to placate the students. However, the students continued their agitation. Police and army members later charged batons and chased the students out of the Secretariat premises.
