Govt. appoints 198 law officers

The government has appointed 198 government pleaders in different courts at Mymensingh and Moulvibazar.

The Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs issued a separate order in this regard on Wednesday night.

In the same order, the ministry has also cancelled the appointments of all previous government law officers.

Newly appointed law officers would serve the office as government prosecutor, additional government prosecutor, assistant government prosecutor, public prosecutor, additional public prosecutor and assistant public prosecutor in different courts.

Of the newly appointed officials, 42 were appointed in Moulvibazar and 156 in Mymensingh in the district and session judge courts and other subordinate courts, different tribunals and special judge courts.

M Azharul Huq and M Anwar Aziz (Tutul) have been appointed respectively as government prosecutors (GP) and Public prosecutors (PP) in the Mymensingh district and session judge courts.

Mamunur Rashid and M Abdul Matin Chowdhury respectively were appointed as the GP and PP at district and session judge courts in Moulvibazar.
