Rahman Zahid nominated for Asia Pacific Diplomacy Forum & Award 2024

London and Dhaka-based writer and social activist Rahman Zahid has been nominated for the Asia Pacific Diplomacy Forum & Award 2024.

He has been selected for this award in appreciation of his contributions as a young writer, lawyer and social activist, said a press release.

Global Youth Parliament President Diwakar Aryal, on July 19, signed a letter announcing Rahman Zahid's nomination.

The Republic of Nepal sent an invitation to Rahman Zahid to participate in the "Asia Pacific Diplomacy Forum & Award 2024" as a national delegate and to formally accept the honour.

The Global Youth Leadership Award and Summit will take place in Nepal's capital, Kathmandu, from August 1-4.

The nominated persons in each of the several categories will receive the awards.

“An opportunity will be created to present Bangladesh to the world, along with the ability to collaborate with a select group of young global intellectuals, which for me is absolutely a significant accomplishment,” said Rahman Zahid, the nominee for the 2024 Youth Writer, Lawyer and Social Influencer Award.

The Asia Pacific Diplomacy Forum & Award 2024 is an annual award program organised by the Global Youth Parliament to honour individuals who lead youth development initiatives throughout the world.
