867 injured students still taking treatment at CMHs: ISPR

As many as 867 students who were injured during the ‘Anti-Discrimination Students Movement’ are still receiving medical treatment at 10 Combined Military Hospitals (CMHs), including Dhaka.

A total of 2,533 students who were injured during the ‘Anti-Discrimination Students Movement’ came to 10 CMHs across the country for medical treatment. 

Bangladesh Army has relentlessly and sincerely provided emergency and advanced medical services to injured students at CMHs for their quick recovery since 18 August 2024, according to a release of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Saturday evening. 

According to the latest statistics, a total of 2533 injured students were sent to CMHs for medical treatment.  Of them, 867 injured students are still undergoing treatment at CMHs and the remaining students have returned home after treatment. 

Meanwhile, the Bangladesh Army wished for the speedy recovery of the injured students of the July-August revolution, saying that there is always an effort to provide maximum emergency medical care for the wounded students across the country, the ISPR release added.
