Seven die, 1,243 hospitalised with dengue fever

Seven more people have died of dengue while 1,243 new patients have been hospitalised with the Aedes mosquito-borne disease across the country in the past 24 hours, said The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

It said as many as 497 were hospitalised in Dhaka among the new dengue patients until Thursday morning.

With the latest data, this year, a total of 297 people died.
