DMP bans rallies in Kakrail, adjacent areas

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has imposed a ban on all kinds of public assemblage, meeting, rally, procession and demonstration at house no-66 located, Pioneer road and adjacent areas along with Kakrail on Saturday.

 DMP issued a public notice to this end in the evening signed by DMP Commissioner Md Mainul Hasan.

 The DMP imposed the ban as per Section 29 of Dhaka Metropolitan Police Ordinance (Ordinance No-III/76) to maintain public order amid the recent circumstances, it added.
