NUSDF Skill Development Summit and Job Fair 2024 held

NUSDF Bangladesh hosted NUSDF Skill Development Summit and Job Fair 2024 Co with a view to emphasising the importance of skill acquisition for students and enhancing corporate networking opportunities. 

Vice-Chancellor of National University, Professor Dr. A.S.M. Amanullah inaugurated the event as the chief guest.

The event titled ‘NUSDF Skill Development Summit & Job Fair 2024’ was jointly organised by the NUSDF Bangladesh and Excellence Bangladesh.

The conference took place at the International Mother Language Institute in the city on November 2.

Ashraf Bin Taj, general secretary of the Asia Marketing Federation and co-founder & managing director of International Distribution Company Bangladesh was present in the programme as keynote speaker.

Among the special guests were Tajdin Hassan, chief business officer of The Daily Star & chief operating officer of Keeron; Dr. Rafiuddin Ahmed, professor of marketing, University of Dhaka; Dr. Shariful Islam Dulu, chief executive officer, Marketel Bangladesh Limited; Monir Hosen, chairman of Creative Business Group; Dipesh Nag, managing director of Grameen Danone Foods Limited; Surayya Siddiqua, director sales, Grameen Danone Foods Limited; Benjir Abrar, founder & CEO of Excellence Bangladesh; Asif Iqbal, founder of Gaanchil Music & Asix; Ayman Sadiq, founder of Ten Minute School and educationist; Shahriar Zaman, head of marketing at AkijBashir Group; Sajid Mahbub, chief executive officer and executive editor of Bangladesh Brand Forum;  Munaf Mojib Chowdhury, founder of Eksathe Foundation; Muktadir Anike, joint news editor of DBC & president of Dhaka Sub-Editors Council; Md Shafayet Siddiquee, chief business officer of Thrive.

The day-long event featured multiple seminars and panel discussion sessions. 

Representatives of the country's 50 top companies including Ha-Meem Group, RFL, T.K Group, Shawpno, Grameen Danone Foods Limited, Star Cineplex, Ifad Group, Panjeree, Creative IT Institute, Nurtaz, ICT Bangla, Shelai, Dhaka Optical Pavilion, Career Pro BD and Sajgoj participated in the job fair.
