Taqsem continues to hide in Bangladesh

Dhaka Water Supply and Sewerage Authority (Wasa) Managing Director Taqsem A Khan was last seen at his workplace on 4 August. He resigned around 10 days later, and there has been no clue regarding his whereabouts since then. However, the Daily Samakal's investigation found that Taqsem is still hiding somewhere in Bangladesh. 

More than one source confirmed that Taqsem has been trying to leave the country since the fall of the Awami League government in August. He and his family members are US citizens. His wife and only child live there permanently. That is where Taqsem is trying to flee. 

According to the sources, Taqsem A Khan is being sheltered by a high official at one of the special forces. He will be sent to the US as soon as possible. 

Despite being involved in various scandals, including corruption, Taqsem was the MD of Wasa for 16 long years under the blessings of the Awami League government. Even after Taqsem resigned, his chosen people are running Wasa at present.
