Letter sent to IGP to request INTERPOL red notice for Hasina, AL leaders

Chief Prosecutor of International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) advocate Md Tajul Islam has written to the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Md Mainul Islam, urging necessary measures to request INTERPOL red notice to arrest genocide case fugitives, including Sheikh Hasina. 

The prosecution of the ICT confirmed the matter on Tuesday. 

On 10 November, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Adviser Dr Asif Nazrul said, "The step to issue INTERPOL red notice will be taken soon." He made the remarks while talking to newsmen after inspecting renovation works of the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) building.
