Students of Titumir College block Mohakhali

A few hundred students of the Titumir College blocked the Mohakhali rail track on Monday, demanding their educational institute be turned into a university. 

They took up position under the Mohakhali overbridge at around 11am, stopping traffic on both road and rail track. 

According to eyewitnesses, students lobbed brickbats at a train that refused to stop. 

Students have claimed that they would hold the blockade till their demand is met.
