Golam Dastagir Gazi's APS arrested

Police have arrested Firoz Bhuiyan, assistant private secretary (APS) to former Textiles and Jute Minister Golam Dastagir Gazi from a hotel of the district town.

Cox’s Bazar Police Super Rahmat Ullah said that police after conducting a raid at a hotel of the district town arrested Firoz at 11am on Tuesday.

Firoz, hailed from Rupganj of Narayanganj district, was accused of separate cases under different police stations of Narayanganj, he added.

Process is underway to send him to Sadar Model Thana of Narayanganj, police said.
