3 students killed as picnic bus electrified

Three students of Islamic University of Technology (IUT) were killed as a double-decker bus carrying them to a picnic got electrified in Udaikhali village under Telihati union in Gazipur's Sreepur at 10:30am on Saturday.

The victims were identified as - Mozammel Hossain Naim, 24, Mostakim Rahman Mahin, 22, and Jobayer Alam Sakib, 22.

Deputy Director of Mymensingh Medical College Hospital Jakiul Islam said all of the deceased were students of IUT's Mechanical Engineering department.
