Horlicks Brain Games Olympiad ends with fanfare

The Horlicks Brain Games Olympiad 2024 culminated in an unforgettable Grand Finale at the Aloki Convention Centre, Dhaka, on November 16, 2024. The event brought together the top 100 young minds from across Bangladesh, who competed for the coveted championship title. Families of the participants also joined to enjoy an engaging, day-long immersive experience, filled with excitement and intellectual challenges.

The event featured a variety of engaging activities for both participants and their families. The day began with interactive activities and skill-building sessions for children and their families, followed by the final national round, where 6th to 8th grader participants showcased their brilliance in the showdown of the competition.

The day-long program was packed with engaging activities. Renowned educator Ayman Sadiq captivated the audience with an interactive session, inspiring parents and students. Magic Razik added a touch of wonder with his mesmerizing magic show, leaving the crowd spellbound. A free health checkup was also organized for parents, ensuring their well-being as they cheered for their young achievers.

The highlight of the day was the final national round, where participants showcased their brilliance in a highly competitive yet friendly environment. While Horlicks had initially planned to award the top 10 participants, the exceptional performance of the competitors led to 16 participants being recognized, with ties in multiple positions. This decision highlighted Horlicks’ commitment to celebrating extraordinary talent.

The winners of the Olympiad included:

1st Position: Chirojit Debnath Jit, Class 7, Mymensingh Zilla School – winning Tk 3,00,000 prize money scholarship

2nd Position (tie): Talha Muhammad Afroz, Class 7, Ideal School & College, and Arik Azlan Al Rahman, Class 7, St. Joseph Higher Secondary School – winning Tk 2,00,000 prize money scholarship each

3rd Position: Farhan Ishraq, Class 8, Mymensingh Zilla School – winning  Tk 1,00,000 prize money scholarship

The rest 4th to 10th position holders received Tk 25,000 worth of prize money scholarships each. All winners were celebrated with trophies, certificates, and exciting prizes amidst loud cheers and applause.
