18,149 cadres, non-cadres to be recruited through 5 BCS exams

A total of 18,149 individuals will be recruited through five Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examinations.

Out of total employees, 12,710 will be appointed for cadre posts while 5,439 for non-cadre posts.

Md Mokhlesur Rahman, senior secretary of public administration ministry, made the disclosure at a press conference held at the secretariat on Sunday.

According to Rahman, 2,064 candidates from the 43rd BCS exam, 1,710 from the 44th BCS, 2,309 from the 45th BCS, 3,140 from the 46th BCS, and 3,487 from the 47th BCS will be hired for the cadre positions.

In addition, 642 members of the 43rd BCS; 1,791 members of the 44th BCS; 1,570 members of the 45th BCS; 1,111 members of the 46th BCS; and 325 members of the 47th BCS will be recruited for non-cadre posts.
