Akbar, Faisal made new press ministers in London, Delhi

The interim government has appointed Akbar Hossain Majumder as the minister of the press wing to the Bangladesh High Commission in London, UK.

Faisal Mahmud has also been appointed as the minister of the press wing to the Bangladesh High Commission in New Delhi, India.

Two separate notifications were issued in this regard on Sunday.

The appointments were made on conditions that they will sever from work-relations with any other profession, business or government, semi-government and private organisations. 

It also mentioned that the appointments were made in the public interest.

The conditions of the appointments will be determined by the contract agreement for two years term.
