ISKCON leader Chinmoy Krishna arrested

A team of the Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has arrested ISKCON leader Chinmoy Krishna Das Brahmachari from near Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the capital on Monday afternoon. 

Joint commissioner (DB- North) of DMP Rabiul Bhuiyan said acting on a tip-off, DB men arrested him from near the Dhaka airport area while he was supposedly preparing to tour to Chattogram.

He said that Chinmoy was arrested in a case filed with Chattrogram Kotwali Police Station.
