Organiser of so-called non-violent mass uprising Mahbubul held

Police have arrested one Mahbubul Alam Chowdhury, one of the organizers of the so-called non-violent mass uprising from the capital's Shantinagar area.

A team of the Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) arrested him around 8:15 pm on Monday.

Mahbubul identified him as the senior joint member secretary and one of the conveners of the Central Committee of the Non-Violent Mass Uprising.

The arrestee has already been handed over to Shahbagh Police Station.

Legal action is being taken against him.
