Thakurgaon, Rangamati get new DCs

The government has posted two Deputy Commissioners (DCs) to Thakurgaon and Rangamati districts.

A notification regarding the reshuffle was issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on Wednesday.

Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate of Thakurgaon Ishrat Farzana has been transfer to Rangamati as new DC and District Magistrate, said the notification.

The same notification said that Mohammad Habib Ullah, a deputy secretary of the Finance Division, has been appointed as the new DC of Thakurgaon.

The order was published in the public interest.

It will come into effective immediately.
