RMG workers block highway demanding unpaid wages

Workers of Mahmud Jeans, a garment factory in Kaliakoir upazila of Gazipur district, have blocked the highway demanding two months' arrears of salary.

The workers blocked the Tangail Highway and Chandra-Nabinagar Highway from 8:00 am on Thursday, creating a traffic jam of about 8 kilometers on both sides of the roads. 

Consequently, the passengers on both sides have been suffering much since morning.
