Political crisis should be solved through dialogue: Rehman Sobhan

Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD) Chairman and eminent economist Professor Rehman Sobhan has said all political crises should be solved through constructive dialogue. 

He made the remarks while speaking at a dialogue event held at the capital's BRAC Centre on Sunday. 

CPD has been trying to do this for the last 30 years, he said. Bringing the government under accountability through dialogue was attempted. They have also worked to establish good governance, which is the prerequisite for development. 

The event was held to mark the 30th anniversary of CPD. A total of four sessions will be held throughout the day.
