9 ASPs sent on retirement

The government has sent nine Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs) on retirement.

The Public Security Division of the Ministry of Home Affairs issued nine separate gazette notifications signed by Senior Secretary Dr Mohammad Abdul Momen on Sunday in this regard.

The police officials are Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASPs) Md Mosharraf Hossain, Zobairul Haque, Md Jamal Uddin, Md Nasir Uddin Bhuiyan, Md Matiur Rahman, Md Mizanur Rahman, Md Enayet Hossain, Md Selim Hossain and M R Shawkat Anwar Islam.

According to the notifications, they were sent on retirement from government service in the public interest as per the provisions of section 45 of the Public Service Act, 2018 (Section 57 of the 2018 Act).

They will be entitled to get all fringe benefits of retirement as per the rules, it added.
