Bangladesh Assistant High Commission in Agartala attacked

Miscreants have attacked the Bangladesh Assistant High Commission in Agartala of India on Monday. 

The Bangladesh national flag was torn apart during the attack.

A report by Kolkata24x7 said that the attack on the Bangladesh Assistant High Commission was carried out following rumours spread by the Indian media.

The report claimed that Hindu activists carried out the attack.

However, a BBC Bangla report, meanwhile, said that the Bangladesh Assistant High Commission in Agartala was vandalised and the national flag was taken down in protest against the arrest of Chinmoy Krishna Das, the spokesperson of the Bangladesh Sammilita Sanatani Jagran Jote.
