Bangladesh-India hold foreign office meeting

Foreign Office Consultations (FOC) between the foreign secretaries of India and Bangladesh have ended on Monday afternoon at the state guest house Padma.

Trade, visa policies, connectivity, border killings, water-sharing, and other matters of mutual interest were the agenda of the meeting.

Visiting Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri will brief media in the afternoon while Foreign Secretary Md Jashim Uddin will address media at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at 5:30pm.

Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri arrived in Dhaka on Monday morning on an Indian Air Force aircraft amid ongoing strained relations between the neighbours.
