Shomi Kaiser secures bail

The High Court has granted bail for the next three months to actress and former e-CAB president Shomi Kaiser in a murder attempt case. 

A High Court bench of Justice AKM Asaduzzaman and Justice Syed Enayet Hossain passed the order on Tuesday. 

Police arrested actress Shomi Kaiser from the capital's Uttara area on November 5. She was arrested in connection with a case filed against her on October 9 for attempting to murder BNP activist Syed Hasan Mahmud.
