Reform commission to recommend end to police verifications

The Public Administration Reform Commission Chief Abdul Muyeed Chowdhury said the commission will recommend an end to police verification of all job appointments. 

He said this during a view exchange meeting with journalists on Tuesday. 

No promotions will be given at deputy and joint secretary levels without examinations. A minimum of 70 marks will be required for promotions. This will reduce discrimination between the cadres, he said.
