Traffic guidelines issued for BPL concert in Mirpur on Monday

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has issued specific guidelines for vehicles operating around Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium and Mirpur-10 in the city.

The guideline was issued roundabout from 1:00pm to 10:00pm to make sure uninterrupted traffic management and movement during the BPL T20 Music fest.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) will host the fest from 2:00pm on Monday.

The guidelines, signed by DMP Commissioner Sheikh Md Sajjat Ali, were announced by DMP on Sunday.

As per guidelines, vehicles heading towards Mirpur-1, Mirpur-10, 11, 12, and 14 will use the road beside Sony Cinema Hall and the Rainkhola-Proshika crossing.

Vehicles crossing Mirpur-10 from Mirpur-12 must take the Proshika crossing road after turning right at the original Mirpur-10 junction.

Vehicles moving to Mirpur-1 and Mirpur-12 via Agargaon will take a left turn from Agargaon and follow the route through Shyamoli Shishu Mela-Technical crossing-Sony Cinema Hall crossing.

The city residents were urged to help in maintaining traffic discipline and avoiding congestion during the programme hours.
