Constitution by Mujib to become obsolete on December 31: Hasnat

The constitution by Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman will be buried and Awami League as a party will become irrelevant on December 31, Anti-Discrimination Student Movement leader Hasnat Abdullah has said. 

The leaders of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement are set to announce the "Proclamation of the July Revolution" on that day, the movement's leaders said at a press conference in Dhaka on Sunday. 

Hasnat also said, "This proclamation should have been made on August 5. As it was not proclaimed, fascist powers continue to conspire. They keep questioning the legitimacy of this movement, standing on the blood of more than 2,000 martyrs and more than 20,000 injured."

According to the leaders of the movement, the draft of the proclamation was sent to several political parties. They are making comments and statements on it, which will be reflected in the final proclamation. 

Abdul Hannan Masud, another leader of the movement, has called for everyone to come to the Central Shaheed Minar on December 31.
