Two district judges withdrawn, attached with Law Ministry

The government has withdrawn two district judges from their respective stations after consultation with Bangladesh Supreme Court (SC).

The withdrawn judges were attached with the Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Ministry till further order, said a gazette notification.

The judges who are withdrawn and attached to the ministry are Kiran Sankar Halder, a member of the Labour Appeal Tribunal, Dhaka, and Begum Umme Kulsum, Secretary of the Law Commission.

The ministry has transferred both the members of Bangladesh Judicial Service for public interest, said the gazette notification.
