Narayanganj, Kushtia get new DCs

The government has appointed Deputy Commissioners (DCs) to Narayanganj and Kushtia districts.

In this regard, the Ministry of Public Administration, has issued a gazette notification on Monday. 

According to the notification, Md Towfiqur Rahman, Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate of Kushtia, has been transfer to Narayanganj as new DC and District Magistrate.

In the same notification, Shamim Ara Rini, Secretary of the Gazipur City Corporation (Deputy Secretary), has been appointed as the new DC and District Magistrate of Kushtia.

The order will come into effect immediately, it added.
