Diesel, kerosene prices cut by Tk1 per litre from Jan 1

The government has slashed the prices of diesel and kerosene by Tk 1 per litre from Tk 105 to Tk 104 per litre.

The Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources issued a press release in this regard on Tuesday.

It said that the new prices will be effective from January 1.

Octane and petrol prices will remain unchanged at Tk 125 per litre, at Tk 121 per litre respectively.

According to the release, the new prices have been set in line with the pricing formula for determining fuel prices at the consumer level.
