Nagorik Committee, Students Against Discrimination announce fresh campaign

The Students Against Discrimination and Jatiya Nagorik Committee will run a nationwide outreach campaign from January 6-11. They aim to listen to the hopes and aspirations of the people regarding the July Proclamation. 

SAD convener Hasnat Abdullah announced the campaign at a press conference at the organisation's central office in Dhaka's Bangla Motor on Saturday.

At the conference, convener of Jatiya Nagorik Committee said there is no visible progress from the government regarding the proclamation. If there are no steps taken soon, they would take up strict programmes. 

Previously, the student-led platform had given a deadline to the interim government to reveal the July Proclamation by January 15.
