Elections by December if political parties do not want more reforms: CA Press Secretary

The Press Secretary to the Chief Adviser, Shafiqul Alam, said that national elections will be held by December this year if political parties do not want more reforms. 

However, if they want more reforms, they will have to give another six months, he added.

He made the statement while talking to journalists at Krishibid Institution Bangladesh (KIB) in the capital on Tuesday.

The Press Secretary said that the interim government has been able to bring the country to stability. 

With the pace at which the economy was moving, there should have been forex reserves of $20 billion but currently, it is $22 billion, he elaborated.
